The midfielder/forward made his international debut in April 2003 against Belgium. He was a member of the Great Britain squad that finished ninth at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, fifth in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, and fourth at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
